ProductLens is a browser extension that helps users find visually similar products on Amazon based on images they choose to analyze.

Information We Collect

ProductLens does not collect, store, or sell personal information.

The extension processes only the following data when explicitly initiated by the user:

• Images or cropped image regions selected by the user
• The current webpage URL (for context only)

This data is used solely to generate a product search query and is not stored, logged, or reused.

How Information Is Used

Selected images are transmitted to a remote processing service for temporary analysis in order to generate a relevant product search. The resulting search query is then used to redirect the user to Amazon.

No user data is retained after processing.

Data Sharing

ProductLens does not sell, rent, or share user data with third parties.

Amazon links may include affiliate tracking parameters. No personal or identifying information is shared with Amazon.

Permissions

ProductLens requires access to:

• The active browser tab (to capture user-selected images)
• Website content (to allow image selection)

These permissions are used only when the user activates the extension.

Children’s Information

ProductLens is not intended for use by children under the age of 13.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated if ProductLens functionality changes. Updates will be reflected on this page.
